Remember the fun of making up lyrics to the song "Down By The Bay"? Well, I made these watermelon cookies and kept singing the song, then I came up with my own verse and it goes like this:
Down by the bay, where the watermelons grow
Back to my home, I dare not go
For if I do, My mother would say...
Did you ever see a treat?
Looking so sweet.
Down by the bay.
The song reminds me of a summer camp sing-along and so do the cookies.
